Forensic Heroes II - Ending (Warning Spoilers)
I finished it! It took about 2.5 weeks to watch the 30 episodes. I had watched the last three episodes today thanks to the convenience of my iPod though the last two episodes didn't play quite properly...oh well they played fine the laptop...I think I liked FH2 as much as FH1, though they are sequels the style of the 2 drama series are different. Both series had a lot of Forensic Sciences involved and made the show scientific. FH1 had a lot of family issues with Tim, Sui Yau (Yo Yo) and Sam, whereas FH2 had Belle's family situation but that was a cliche and not very interesting...FH2 focused on the love triangle relationship between Belle, Ivan and Sam and I think that is where this series shines. In FH1, the relationships started slower and the producers took there time at building these lasting relationships in the hearts of the viewer. However, in FH2, the relationship between Ivan and Belle developed rather quickly and I was somewhat 'unconvinced' at first...perhaps that was what they were trying to achieve inorder to introduce the triangle relationship. Sam was the 'third person' but really he wasn't because he didn't have feelings for Belle, Belle and Ivan's relationship became convincing to me (and to themselves as well) after the first explosion. Thank goodness, Sam did not fight Ivan over Belle breaking their friendship! That is the way it should be! Also, after loving "Ding-Ding" (Linda) so much, it would be awkward for him to just pick anyone and fall in love with that person. In the end though, I'm glad Sam found someone that he may begin his new "big project" on. Though she isn't Linda, she is to him, though I guess that isn't really fair for the girl but it's hard to say whether it is right or wrong to 'love' someone because they remind you of someone else. I was very pleased with the ending. Perhaps my only criticism is that the series was too series at times and lacked some comedy to spice up the romance a bit. I don't mean 'stupid' comedy but even some chemistry perhaps...perhaps that is what is missing (Kevin and Charmaine worked together as a couple in Food for Life, but I didn't like the triangle relationship in that series)...now if only Belle was played by Niki...now that would be interesting! Bed Time!
